Harder than I thought...

Keeping up on a blog the day you start at a new school is a lot harder than it sounds. Since I put this thing together I have posted nothing. Zip. Zilch.
A promising start? Not so much. Time to live and learn.
In other fields however I am happy to report that I have been a bit more productive; a young company I've been working for in California has set me on to a new project- background designs for a web comic. You can check out their Facebook page here- http://www.facebook.com/pages/Toxic-Creativity/389193291130373?fref=ts

Set in a fantasy Middle Ages type of world it is a lot of fun to work on- though a bit overwhelming to design an entire civilization in architecture. Each of the different races have their own styles and materials for building so combining them in the few communal buildings there are is a challenge.

The first edition of the comic will probably come out later this year, once the final coloring and inking is done.

I was lucky enough to have one of my pieces of fan art shared on Facebook a few weeks ago by one of my favorite artists Brian Kesinger. Called the perfect cup it features his two characters Victoria, a lovely steampunk lady, and her pet cephalopod Otto as well as two of my own that were modeled for the same period. Angela (a steam punk chemist and cousin to Victoria) and her own cephalopod a squid named Syd, Sydney. You can see the post and share here =) http://www.facebook.com/pages/Brian-Kesingers-Tea-Girls/212094505475204

I hope to color it later in the same style as Kesinger's tea paintings.
As for keeping up to date I'll do the best I can- hopefully that means something more regular than what I've been doing. =)
